In my new book I am sharing with you my favourite comfort foods and the secrets to baking the Italian way.
Everyone has their favourite smell that reminds them of home...mine is baking. My grandfather had a wood-burning oven built in his garden and many local people used to bring him simple ingredients like flour, yeast, salt and extra virgin olive oil, and he would make breads or pizza for them.
